SPRINGFIELD, MO.—Jordan Thelander of Elburn was recently named to the Missouri State University dean’s list for the 2015 spring semester.
NASHVILLE—Emma Pettyjohn of Sugar Grove was recently named to the Belmont University dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester.
Dean’s list eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.
AMES, IOWA—Kyle T. Zankowski of Elburn was recently named to the Iowa State dean’s list for the 2015 spring semester.
Zankowski is majoring in kinesiology and health.
Students named to the dean’s list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
DAVENPORT, IOWA—Holly Thomas of Sugar Grove in May graduated summa cum laude from St. Ambrose University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
A total of 680 degrees, including 490 bachelor’s degrees, 188 master’s degrees and two doctoral degrees, were conferred during the ceremony.

TERRE HAUTE, IND.—Brittany Kemp of Elburn was recently named to the Indiana State dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester.
To be eligible for the list, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
ONEONTA, N.Y.—Katie Meuer of Elburn was the recent recipient of the Franz Boas Award in Anthropology at Hartwick College. She is also a member of the Hartwick College Honors Program.
The Franz Boas Award in Anthropology is presented to a graduating senior based on exemplary performance and service to the Anthropology Department.
Meuer, the daughter of Michael and Krista Meuer of Elburn, is majoring in biochemistry and anthropology at the university.
NORTH CHICAGO, ILL.—Catherine A. Wheeler from Maple Park recently received a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
PLATTEVILLE, WIS.—Ryley Bailey of Elburn was recently named to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville chancellor’s list for the spring 2015 semester. Full-time students must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average to make this prestigious list.
Bailey is majoring in physical education at the university.
