Alef named to Maryville University dean’s list

ST. LOUIS—Theresa Alef of Maple Park was recently named to the Maryville University dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester. Alef is currently studying occupational therapy at the university.

Maryville undergraduate students are eligible for the dean’s list when they complete at least 12 Maryville University credit hours in a semester with a minimum of a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 (perfect) scale.

Schaefer named to Ashland University dean’s list

ASHLAND, OHIO—Marina Schaefer of Sugar Grove was recently named to the Ashland University’s dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester.

Schaefer, a 2014 Kaneland High School graduate, is majoring in fashion merchandise. She is the daughter of David Schaefer of Sugar Grove.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled full time at Ashland University and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Meuer makes University of Evansville dean’s list

EVANSVILLE, IND.—Eric Meuer of Elburn was recently named to the University of Evansville dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester. Meuer is majoring in music at the university.

Harner named to Dubuque dean’s list

DUBUQUE, IOWA—Alyson Harner of Elburn was recently named to the University of Dubuque dean’s list for the fall 2014.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester.

Dunteman named to Iowa State dean’s list

AMES, IOWA—Robert Dunteman of Elburn was recently named to the Iowa State University dean’s list for the 2014 fall semester.

Students named to the dean’s list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Dunteman is majoring in mechanical engineering at the university.

Cole named to U-W Stevens Point honor list

STEVENS POINT, WIS.—Patrick Cole of Elburn recently earned highest honors from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for the fall 2014 academic semester.

Full-time undergraduates who earn grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation.

Sugar Grove residents make Bradley dean’s list

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Local residents named to Lewis University dean’s list

ROMEOVILLE, ILL.—The following local residents were named to the Lewis University dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester: Abigail Dodis (biochemistry), Alec Koczka (aviation maintenance management), Brock Robertsen (accountancy) and Jessica Villafuerte (nursing), all of Elburn; and Shane Fergus (sport management) and Abby Michels (special education-elementary education) of Sugar Grove.

To be eligible for the dean’s list honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit with a grade point average of 3.5 out of a possible 4.0 and with no “D” or “F” grades.

Archibald named to The Webb School honor roll

Archibald is currently an 11th grader at The Webb School.

Local residents named to Bradley dean’s list
